We design all ten collections ourselves and hold the original files, so you are not buying a fixed roll but a wall. You give us the width and the height, and what will stand against it.
With those measurements we lay the design out again: the motif scaled to your wall, the busiest zone away from the head of the bed, and nothing cut off halfway in the corner or at a dormer. Children's rooms are often in the loft, and that is exactly where a standard roll gives up. A sloping ceiling, a dormer or a knee wall means every strip has a different height, and with large palm leaves you see immediately where someone had to cut. Because we are the designers, we lay the jungle out again for each wall.
Send us the measurements of the slope as well and we let the leaves follow it instead of running into it. We keep large monstera whole where you actually look, and fill the narrow pieces beside the dormer with quieter foliage.

Animal wallpaper made to measure: the bear looks your child in the eye
A three year old takes in the room at about a metre off the floor, an adult at one and a half. With a standard roll the repeat decides where the bear's head ends up, and surprisingly often that is behind the changing table or just under the skirting. We design our patterns ourselves and hold the original files, so we get to decide that height.
Send us the width and the height of the wall, and tell us what will stand against it: a bed, a chest of drawers, a low cupboard. We then move the animals up into the free zone above it and keep the busiest part away from the head of the bed, so it stays calm where the sleeping happens.

Star wallpaper made to measure: no half moon in the corner
A scattered pattern looks like the easiest design there is, until you look at the edges. That is exactly where a standard roll shows its hand: a whole star on the left, a quarter on the right, and above the cot a moon cut in half by the corner. We hold the original files, so we only divide up the stars once we know your wall size.
We centre the pattern on the wall so both sides end with a whole shape, and we look at where the bed or the changing table will go. Above a headboard we keep the sky quiet, because a child lying in bed looks at that the longest.

Vehicle wallpaper made to measure: the wheels at the right height
In a scene with vehicles everything hangs on one line: the ground the wheels stand on. Set it too low and the digger disappears behind the bed. Set it too high and the cars seem to float. We design the patterns ourselves, so we can move that horizon, which a fixed roll height simply cannot.
Tell us how high the bed, the desk or the play mat will come and we put the road line just above it. We rescale a scattered pattern of cars so the little tractor is not cut off halfway down the skirting and no half fire engine ends up in the corner.

Unicorn wallpaper made to measure: something of your own from ten designs
This is deliberately the smallest facet we have, and that makes made to measure matter more here than anywhere else. With ten designs there is a good chance you like one but not in that colour, or not at that size. Because we are the designers and hold the original files, that is a starting point rather than a dead end.
We scale the unicorn up for a wall behind the bed or down for the strip above the chest of drawers, and we can move the background colour to match the rest of the room. If a full wall design does not fit, we lift the castle or the unicorn out as a single element, for instance as a wall circle.

Space is the motif where scale does everything. A solar system on half a wall is a picture; the same system across three metres is a room a child moves into. A standard roll forces you into the scale the factory chose. We design our own, so we scale the image to your wall width, not to a roll width.
When laying it out we watch two things: that the large planet does not land right behind the cupboard, and that the proportions between the planets still hold when the whole thing grows or shrinks. Want just part of the system above the desk? Then we cut that crop for you.

Dinosaurs stay popular for years, but the scale that suits a four year old is childish to an eight year old. That is exactly what you cannot adjust with a standard roll: the size is fixed in the product. Children's floral wallpaper made to measure: the bloom sets the age
In a floral design for children the age is not in the colour but in the size of the bloom. Fine blossom on a soft ground reads as a baby's room; the same drawing twice as large reads as the room of an eight year old. Because we are the designers, we can shift that scale without you having to pick a different pattern.
That means a room can grow with the child without you hunting for something new in the same colours. When laying it out we keep the flower fields whole where you actually look, and make sure no bloom is cut in half by the corner.

Adventure designs tell a story: a world map, a treasure map, a mountain range running left to right. In a design like that not every part is equally interesting, and a standard roll does not let you choose which part you get. We design our own and hold the complete file, so the crop is yours to decide.
Want South America above the desk rather than the ocean? Then we shift the map. If a bookcase goes against the wall, we make sure the busiest corner of the design lands there and the open part stays at eye level. That way the best piece does not disappear behind your furniture.

Plain wallpaper has no depicted subject and therefore no repeat that has to work out. That makes this the one group where width is never a problem: 2.40 metres or 5.15 metres makes no difference, there is no motif to be cut off halfway. What does count is the colour, and we can adjust that because we make the files ourselves.
