Properties of solid aluminium
Our solid aluminium panels are a fantastic solution for the kitchen. Easy to maintain and install, and extremely durable.
DW Solid is 1.5mm thick. This makes the material sturdier and more suitable for higher temperatures such as gas cookers and air fryers.
The print is applied directly onto the aluminium with a protective coating on top. The result is a backsplash that withstands high temperatures and effortlessly lasts for decades.

DW Solid is available with both a matte and glossy protective layer. Both coatings optimally protect your backsplash against moisture, dirt and scratches.
Matte finish

Glossy finish

What is the difference between DW Solid and DW Original?
DW Original is a composite of aluminium and plastic (3mm thick), while DW Solid is entirely made of solid aluminium (1.5mm). DW Solid is more suitable for high temperatures and has a longer lifespan, but is heavier and more expensive.
Can I place DW Solid over existing tiles?
