Sometimes it’s hard to choose – especially when feeling and taste play an important role in your interior. That’s how it was for Alan, who came to us for a new kitchen backsplash. It became a journey full of inspiration, consultation and custom work, which ultimately resulted in a beautiful solution that still makes him happy every day.
🧩 It started with samples, ideas and choice overload
Alan found us via Google and requested samples for five different designs. He quickly let us know which ones he liked and sent photos of his kitchen so we could create simulations. There was immediately good contact and we noticed that Alan needed someone to think along, personal advice and visual examples. We completely understand that – it’s not a small decision, after all, a backsplash defines the atmosphere in your kitchen.
🖼️ Simulations with variations: large and small tiles
We created multiple simulations of the favourites for Alan, including DW6083 and DW7374, in different sizes. He wanted to know how the tile size would affect the overall look. Together we examined how the pattern would look best behind the tap, next to the oven and on the side wall.
🛋️ Showroom visit & thinking along with the interior
To make a better choice, Alan visited our showroom – not once, but several times. He also browsed through our wallpaper books, looking for inspiration and something that matched his ‘sleek, almost office-like atmosphere’. The goal: a warmer, more cheerful look in his modern kitchen.
🎯 The choice has been made – successfully!
After much consultation, feedback on the simulations and a clear quote, Alan made his decision. He chose an aluminium DW Original panel in a fresh design. For the section left of the oven, he provided a size correction so everything would fit perfectly. We sent final proofs, stayed in touch about delivery and even gave tips for removing any adhesive residue.
